This was the first assignment of the second semester, we were asked to re-think of our design layout in an architectural sense ( without furniture or millwork )
A new conceptual idea I got was to create more circles like the initial existing one, to help emphasize the beauty of the circle and also to use them as class rooms for the different age groups for the children.
Those circles created a hallway that became a design challenge for me because I needed to find a function for it other than being a simple hallway due to the space it has.
Programming examples and precedents:
As for the second room, the idea was to locate different functions in different parts of the building, by having the front part of the floor being a more office feel like stereotypical work spaces, then the top half being a more recreational and new way of working.
Also having "sections" for different kinds of work to help with noise control was something I wanted to focus on because I know the people work in different ways and environments and I wanted to give them as many possible scenarios as possible.
